Design Sales Consultant (Toronto)

Great opportunity for an ambitious sales professional to join an established high end flooring company. This is a unique role combining showroom sales and business development within the interior finishes marketplace. 

We’re looking for 3 years proven sales experience in a design related industry. The right candidate will have a proven track record to attain and surpass sales targets as well as account management experience. Great relationship builder who establishes strong alliances with trades and vendors.

Responsibilities include:

  • Meet with stakeholders to introduce product benefits and advantages
  • Reach sales goals by deadlines and execute corrective measure when sales deviate
  • Find prospective customers and new target segment to market product. Proactively prospect interior designers, architects, and Custom Luxury Builders.
  • Create Alliances within the Interiors market locally.
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions and networking with associations to promote product
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues, developing solutions and preparing reports
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending education workshops, reviewing industry publications, establishing personal networks and participating in manufacturing associations
  • Maintain great client relationship and rapport and ability to deal with unique requests for clients in a professional and timely manner
  • Liaises with installers, trades and construction people to ensure timeliness and quality are maintained as per customer expectations
