Founded in 2015, our innovative studio has been recognized for creating impactful modern spaces. With a rapidly expanding project portfolio, we are looking for a talented architect to join our passionate team and take on exciting new challenges.
Position Overview:
As a key member of our team, you will lead the design and management of modern private residential projects from concept to completion. You will oversee 3-5 projects concurrently, attending client meetings, shaping schematic designs, collaborating with consultants, and ensuring that project timelines are met. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential, and you will produce detailed drawings with the support of a junior team member.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Initial Client Meetings: Establish strong client relationships and understand their vision.
Drive Schematic Design: Create innovative and functional design concepts.
Coordinate with Consultants: Collaborate effectively with various consultants to integrate their expertise.
Attend Committee of Adjustments: Represent projects and navigate regulatory requirements.
Manage Project Timelines: Ensure projects stay on schedule and meet deadlines.
Produce Construction Documents: Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to create detailed construction drawings.
Experience: 5+ years of local experience in modern residential projects.
Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit; experience with 3D rendering software (SketchUp, Rhino) is an asset.
Project Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
Design Passion: A strong passion for modern design and innovative solutions.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
