As we continue to set new standards in residential design, we are seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will lead our Custom Home Department, overseeing the development of large high-end custom homes that exemplify our commitment to innovation, quality, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage high-end custom home projects, ensuring adherence to our standards of excellence in design and construction.
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and on-site personnel to translate project requirements into exceptional living spaces that surpass expectations.
  • Navigate the complexities of zoning regulations and building codes, ensuring compliance and facilitating the permit acquisition process.
  • Oversee the integration of structural and design elements, from layout and sizing to detailing and material selection.
  • Coordinate with external partners, including structural engineers, civil engineers, and surveyors, to integrate their expertise into project deliverables.
  • Utilize advanced software tools such as AutoCAD and Revit Architecture to facilitate efficient project management and design visualization.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of Canadian experience in architectural project management, with a specialization in high-end custom homes.
  • BCIN certification or equivalent qualification.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing to meet strict timelines without compromising quality.
  • Experience in the application of various construction methods, materials, and overall detailing.
  • Experience with siting and grading design
  • Proficiency in Ontario Building Code (OBC), with a strong understanding of both Part 9 and Part 3 regulations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in structural layouts, beam sizing, roof structures, masonry support and other architectural elements.
  • Fluent in AutoCAD, with familiarity in Revit Architecture preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.
