Overseeing a team of Project Managers and Designers, your key responsibilities will be:
Team Leadership and Development:
- Inspire and lead the Interior Design team to think creatively and push the boundaries of design excellence.
- Cultivate a collaborative environment where creativity flourishes, and each team member feels valued and motivated.
- Oversee the professional development of your team, identifying growth opportunities aligned with project needs and design aspirations.
- Provide mentorship in both creative and technical aspects of interior design, ensuring our work reflects the high standards of our studio.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and development to attract and retain top talent, aligning team composition with project needs and studio objectives.
Project Management and Execution:
- Provide strategic direction and comprehensive oversight to project managers and teams, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and design intent.
- Empower project teams to take ownership of their roles and responsibilities, fostering a sense of accountability and dedication to achieving project objectives.
- Conduct high level reviews of project deliverables to ensure quality, leveraging technology to meet or exceed client expectations.
Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout projects.
- Act as the primary relationship contact for Clients and other stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
Technology Integration and Innovation:
- Facilitate the integration of cutting-edge design technologies and methodologies within the team, enhancing our design capabilities.
- Champion the adoption of digital workflow enhancements such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), ensuring effective use across projects.
- Encourage a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, empowering team members to explore and propose new technologies and digital solutions.
Financial Oversight and Compliance:
- Oversee financial management processes, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and consistently meeting client expectations.
- Provide guidance and expertise in navigating complex financial issues and negotiations, ensuring financial integrity and supporting project success.
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and regulations, safeguarding the integrity and success of our projects.
About You:
- You’re driven by a deep passion for interior design, evident in your diverse portfolio showcasing innovative and creative projects.
- With over a decade of experience in Interior Design, including significant time in leadership or management roles, you’re ready to take charge and inspire teams to new heights.
- You’re not just proficient in Revit; you’re constantly seeking out the latest design technologies and methodologies to stay at the forefront of innovation.
- You have a keen understanding of building codes and regulations, ensuring compliance in every project you undertake.
- Juggling multiple projects is second nature to you. You thrive in ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budgets, and maintaining quality standards.
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors is your forte. Your excellent communication skills ensure seamless collaboration throughout every project.
- You understand the ins and outs of financial management processes, from budgeting to negotiations, ensuring project success while maintaining financial integrity.
- While you may already have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or a related field, you’re always hungry for more knowledge and eager to grow both personally and professionally.
