Our client, a well known interior design firm, is seeking a talented Intermediate Interior Design to join our team. This role is tailored for a designer with a high intermediate skill set, offering an exciting opportunity to lead projects and contribute to our commitment to excellence in interior design.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Intermediate Interior Designer working at the client site,  your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking charge of day-to-day requests and projects, such as workstation additions, office moves, area reconfigurations, and overseeing exterior projects for various company locations. 
  • Working at the client site, you will serve as this client’s primary point of contact, ensuring effective communication and understanding of their needs.
  • With support from our design team, you will lead projects independently, showcasing agility and adaptability in a hybrid work environment.
  • Utilizing strong communication skills to coordinate with the project team and external consultants for seamless project execution.
  • Managing project lifecycle phases, incorporating Discover, Plan, Implement, Monitor, and Close methodologies while upholding company standards and core values.
  • Applying proficiency in Revit for all projects, producing construction documentation, and ensuring project drawings meet company standards.
  • Conducting site verifications, overseeing drawing mark-ups, space planning, and contributing to concept development.
  • Coordinating with vendors for material sourcing and finishes, maintaining relationships with suppliers and consultants.
  • Upholding company standards and participating in training sessions and in-office meetings.


  • Education in Interior Design from a recognized accredited College or University.
  • Progress toward or completion of National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) certification.
  • Membership in the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO) if applicable.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in interior design, demonstrating expertise and leadership potential.
  • Proficient technical skills in Revit.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective relationship-building with clients, consultants, and team members.
