Working alongside Senior Designers and Architectural Technologists, you will contribute to all stages of the design process, from developing creative concepts and client presentations to preparing detailed drawings and coordinating project delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Contribute to interior design projects from initial concept and design development through construction documentation and completion.
- Collaborate with Senior Designers to develop creative, functional, and brand-focused design solutions.
- Prepare space plans, design concepts, mood boards, material selections, renderings, and client presentations.
- Produce and coordinate detailed drawings and documentation using AutoCAD.
- Work closely with Architectural Technologists on technical drawings, construction details, and project coordination.
- Develop fixture, millwork, furniture, finishes, and signage solutions appropriate to each project.
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and presentations, communicating design ideas and recommendations.
- Coordinate with internal team members, consultants, and other project stakeholders to keep projects moving forward.
- Manage multiple project priorities while maintaining high standards of design quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ensure designs and documentation align with applicable building codes and project requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- A degree or diploma in Interior Design from an accredited post-secondary institution.
- 5+ years of professional interior design experience, ideally within a commercial design or architecture firm.
- Experience working on retail, hospitality, banking, or corporate workplace projects.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to projects from concept development through construction documentation and implementation.
- Strong design sensibility, creativity, and an understanding of branded environments.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and PowerPoint.
- Experience preparing design presentations, detailed drawings, millwork details, and finish specifications.
- Good knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and commercial interior construction practices.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
- A collaborative, proactive approach and the confidence to take ownership of assigned work while contributing to a larger design team.
Experience with Revit, AI-assisted rendering, or emerging design technologies would be an asset as the studio continues to evolve its digital design capabilities.
