Your Role
As a Contract Administrator, you will play a critical role in bringing healthcare projects to life, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and design intent. You’ll work closely with contractors, owners, and design teams, bridging technical expertise with a passion for creating spaces that foster healing and well-being.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct site visits to ensure construction complies with contracts, building codes, and safety standards, documenting progress and resolving issues as they arise.
- Track and review shop drawings, schedules, samples, progress payments, and project change documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with contractors, sub-consultants, and building authorities to address constructability challenges and owner concerns.
- Prepare project change documentation, including sketches and drawings, to support adjustments.
- Lead progress meetings throughout the project lifecycle, fostering clear communication and collaboration among stakeholders.
- Oversee project closeout, ensuring all necessary documentation is submitted and distributed.
What You Bring
- Expertise in architectural or engineering systems, including M&E and structural building systems, permitting, and building codes.
- A minimum of 10 years of project experience, with healthcare project experience being a strong asset.
- Registration with a professional association (e.g., OAA, PEO) is an asset.
- Proven leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and flexible approach to dynamic project environments.
