We’re hiring a Senior Architectural Technologist to step into a leadership-focused, hands-on technical role supporting interior design and architectural project delivery. This is a high-impact position for someone who enjoys owning technical quality, mentoring others, and driving strong project outcomes.

You’ll lead documentation, coordinate consultants, support project teams, and help elevate internal standards—while staying actively involved in production.

What You’ll Do

Technical Leadership & Project Delivery

  • Lead production and coordination of architectural and interior documentation using Revit and AutoCAD
  • Oversee drawings, specifications, site instructions, and contract administration documentation
  • Conduct site verifications and prepare as-built documentation
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate sub-consultants and support value engineering efforts

Team Leadership & Mentorship

  • Mentor and support the Architectural Technologist team
  • Assign workloads and balance resources across projects
  • Lead weekly project review meetings focused on timelines and profitability
  • Maintain departmental standards, templates, and best practices

Client, Financial & Operational Support

  • Act as a technical liaison with internal teams and external partners
  • Monitor budgets, hours, and project timelines
  • Support scope change documentation and continuous workflow improvement

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of professional experience
  • AATO accreditation in good standing
  • Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Strong knowledge of interior construction methods, codes, and permitting processes
  • Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills
  • French language skills considered an asset

 ideal for someone ready to step into a senior seat without losing hands-on involvement.

This is a Hybrid role (3 days in office)

Compensation: $80,000 – $90,000

18-24 month contract (strong option for extension to permanent role)
