A growing residential interior design studio is looking for an Intermediate Interior Designer to join its Toronto team, working on high end residential projects across Canada and US.

This is a hands on role for someone who enjoys both the creative and technical sides of residential design. You’ll work closely with the principal and senior designers, contributing to projects from concept through completion. Strong AutoCAD skills are essential, with an immediate focus on producing detailed drawings and supporting projects already underway.

What you’ll do

• Produce detailed AutoCAD drawing packages, including plans, elevations, millwork details and construction documentation.
• Support conceptual design, space planning and the preparation of renderings and presentation materials.
• Review shop drawings and millwork drawings alongside senior designers.
• Source materials, finishes and furnishings, confirming pricing, availability and lead times.
• Coordinate with trades, vendors, contractors, suppliers and consultants to maintain design intent and quality.
• Prepare materials for proposals and client meetings.
• Attend site visits and sourcing appointments, supporting project coordination through completion.

What you’ll bring

• 4–5 years of professional interior design experience, including residential projects.
• A degree or diploma in Interior Design.
• Strong AutoCAD proficiency and experience producing detailed residential drawing packages.
• An understanding of the design process from concept through construction and installation.
• A careful eye for detail and the ability to manage priorities across multiple projects.
• Professional communication skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
• Experience with SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office is an asset.
• A valid driver’s licence and reliable access to a vehicle  (parking provided)
