Building on 50 years of design excellence, this firm is engaged in major academic, commercial, and institutional projects across the GTA, as well as significant urban design and mixed-use developments locally and internationally.

We are seeking an ambitious, passionate, and detail-oriented Project Architect to join our growing team. This role is best suited for a Intern or Licensed Architect with 5-8 years of progressive experience in architectural design and implementation.

The Role

As a Project Architect, you will contribute to the design, development, and coordination of multiple projects. This position offers an opportunity for growth within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with principals, project managers, and clients to review project requirements
  • Lead architectural schematic design and presentations for a wide range of projects
  • Develop conceptual building elevations, floor plans, and site plans, including renderings for proposals and marketing
  • Space plan buildings to meet client-specific needs
  • Prepare architectural documents, including elevations, sections, and details
  • Produce 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings
  • Oversee projects through design development and contract documentation stages
  • Coordinate with management, project teams, and consultants to ensure seamless execution
  • Apply best practices to maintain high-quality project outcomes and meet deadlines

Qualifications:

  • Architectural degree; must be a Licensed or Intern Architect with OAA
  • 5-8 years of experience in design and project execution
  • Strong proficiency in Revit (required)
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, detailing, and Ontario Building Code
  • Ability to work independently while developing and coordinating drawings
  • Proven leadership in managing multiple projects and coordinating with consulting professionals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in site planning and ZBA submissions is preferred
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
