Job Description

Our client is looking for a Project Architect to join its Toronto team. This is an opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of institutional, commercial, and residential projects while collaborating closely with senior leadership and multidisciplinary teams.

You’ll take ownership of projects from early planning through construction, leading coordination with clients, consultants, and contractors to deliver high-quality architecture that balances design excellence with technical precision.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead projects through all phases, from programming and design to construction administration.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and overall project performance.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand and document functional, technical, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead coordination between internal teams, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Develop architectural designs, technical drawings, specifications, and construction details.
  • Oversee drawing production and ensure compliance with building codes, project requirements, and quality standards.
  • Prepare technical documentation, tender packages, presentations, and project reports.
  • Act as the primary client contact throughout project delivery.
  • Conduct site reviews and oversee construction to ensure quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved.

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Architect in Canada (OAA preferred).
  • 8-10+ years of experience in an architecture firm.
  • Experience leading institutional, commercial, or residential projects through multiple phases.
  • Strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code.
  • Advanced proficiency with Revit and Bluebeam.
  • Excellent project coordination and consultant management skills.
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with strong attention to detail and client service.

Salary: $100,000 – $120,000
