Job Description

This is an opportunity to join one of Canada’s most recognized luxury residential interior design studios.

Known for creating exceptional custom homes and featured in leading design publications and television, this award-winning studio is seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer who is eager to learn, take ownership, and contribute to beautifully executed projects from concept through completion.

You’ll work closely with Senior Designers on every phase of the design process, gaining hands-on experience while building your technical, creative, and project management skills in a collaborative, high-performing environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Support Senior Designers on luxury residential projects from concept through completion.
  • Develop design concepts, space plans, material selections, and presentation packages.
  • Produce construction drawings, millwork details, renderings, and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, trades, and vendors throughout the project.
  • Participate in client presentations as part of the design team.
  • Take ownership of portions of projects and confidently manage them through completion.
  • Conduct site visits and review construction progress independently.
  • Assist with sourcing, specifications, and overall project coordination.

What We’re Looking For

  • 4-6 years of professional interior design experience.
  • Experience working on luxury residential or custom home projects.
  • Strong technical drawing and construction documentation skills.
  • Solid understanding of residential construction and detailing.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Experience using AI tools and an interest in exploring emerging technologies.
  • SketchUp experience is an asset.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • A positive, solution-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • Someone who takes initiative, enjoys collaborating, and is confident enough to work independently while remaining open to feedback. No ego—just a genuine desire to do great work.

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • Join one of Canada’s most respected names in luxury residential interior design.
  • Work on exceptional custom homes from the earliest design concepts through construction and installation.
  • Learn directly from an experienced team that values mentorship and professional growth.
  • Be trusted with meaningful responsibility while receiving guidance from Senior Designers.
  • Travel to project sites outside of Canada approximately every 3-4 months.
  • Annual performance reviews with opportunities for continued development.
