We’re seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. You’ll take ownership of high-end residential projects from concept through procurement and installation. This role involves collaboration with a talented team and the satisfaction of seeing designs brought to life through beautifully executed projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop complete design packages for building permit submissions using AutoCAD
  • Create project proposals, design drawings, and detailed plans.
  • Manage and track multiple client projects simultaneously.
  • Ensure designs align with the firm’s vision and standards.
  • Develop finish, fixtures, equipment, hardware, and plumbing schedules.
  • Prepare material boards and graphic layouts for client presentations.
  • Coordinate with the construction team, project managers, and suppliers.
  • Conduct regular construction site visits to oversee project execution.

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years in high-end residential design or renovations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent.
  • Strong CAD skills; understanding of construction, materials, insulation, and framing; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD (Revit is a plus).
  • Exceptional client-facing and consultant coordination skills.
  • Familiarity with Ontario Building Code and zoning bylaws; BCIN certification for houses or small buildings is an asset.
  • Hand sketching and rendering ability; organized and deadline-oriented.
  • Must have access to a car for site visits.
