We’re seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. You’ll take ownership of high-end residential projects from concept through procurement and installation. This role involves collaboration with a talented team and the satisfaction of seeing designs brought to life through beautifully executed projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop complete design packages for building permit submissions using AutoCAD
- Create project proposals, design drawings, and detailed plans.
- Manage and track multiple client projects simultaneously.
- Ensure designs align with the firm’s vision and standards.
- Develop finish, fixtures, equipment, hardware, and plumbing schedules.
- Prepare material boards and graphic layouts for client presentations.
- Coordinate with the construction team, project managers, and suppliers.
- Conduct regular construction site visits to oversee project execution.
Qualifications
- 4-6 years in high-end residential design or renovations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent.
- Strong CAD skills; understanding of construction, materials, insulation, and framing; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD (Revit is a plus).
- Exceptional client-facing and consultant coordination skills.
- Familiarity with Ontario Building Code and zoning bylaws; BCIN certification for houses or small buildings is an asset.
- Hand sketching and rendering ability; organized and deadline-oriented.
- Must have access to a car for site visits.
