The work
You’ll support and drive interior design delivery across workplace projects, early concept through construction. You’ll be hands-on in both design thinking and documentation, and you’ll have real ownership over the furniture scope.
Contributing to feasibility, schematics, and design development for public sector workplace interiors
Running materials + furniture systems research that ties back to budget, timeline, and standards
Building clear presentations boards, visuals, and narratives that help clients decide
Producing drawings, models, and renderings that meet office standards
Coordinating with consultants and internal teams to keep everything aligned and buildable
Owning FF&E: furniture standards, selection, specifications, budgeting, and coordination
Preparing procurement documents and managing the furniture process through delivery and installation
Preparing and coordinating construction drawings in Revit

A true furniture specialist who can lead FF&E end-to-end without needing someone to steer you
Comfortable balancing design intent with technical execution and switching gears quickly
Confident coordinating across disciplines (MEP/structural) and working within code and permit requirements
Strong in Revit and able to produce clean, coordinated drawing sets
What you bring
Post-secondary education in Interior Design or a related discipline
4–7 years of professional interior design experience
Strong software skills (AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Office)
Intermediate Revit skills
Experience in project delivery, with exposure to project management and client management
Strong time management, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
Membership with a relevant registered interior design association is an asset
This position reports into the Ottawa office, with flexibility to work from the office, from home, or remotely. However Candidates must reside in the Ottawa area.
Secret security clearance is required. Candidates must already have it or be eligible to obtain it.
