Job Description

An established international architecture and design practice is seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer to join its Toronto office.

The firm works across a diverse portfolio including corporate workplace, retail, long-term care, industrial office environments, private educational facilities, and multi-unit residential developments. The interior design team collaborates closely with architects and consultants to deliver thoughtful, well-executed spaces from concept through construction.

This role is suited to a designer who enjoys being hands-on across the full project lifecycle and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The Role

You will contribute to interior design projects from early concept through construction, working closely with project managers, architects, and consultants.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing design concepts and preparing presentation materials

  • Producing construction drawings and contract documentation in Revit

  • Selecting finishes, materials, and contract furniture

  • Developing finish schemes and researching products

  • Coordinating with consultant teams and supporting client presentations

  • Conducting field verification and site reviews

  • Supporting construction administration during the build phase

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial interior design

  • Degree in Interior Design or a related field

  • Strong proficiency in Revit

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud

  • Experience developing finish palettes and interior material schemes

  • Knowledge of contract furniture and workplace environments

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and within interdisciplinary teams
