If you care about clean drawings, smart systems, and projects that actually get built right, this role is for you.
We’re looking for a Technical Designer or Architectural Technologist who thrives in the details. You’ll own documentation quality, strengthen technical standards, and help lead the transition from AutoCAD to Revit. This is a hands-on role with real influence on how the studio works and builds.
What You’ll Do
Translate design intent into coordinated, construction-ready drawing sets
Review drawings and details before issue for quality, accuracy, and constructability
Maintain and improve CAD and Revit templates, families, and standards
Support the migration of CAD standards into Revit workflows
Act as a technical resource to the team by troubleshooting models, answering questions, and mentoring designers
What You Bring
5–10 years of experience as a Technical Designer or Architectural Technologist
Strong background in workplace, corporate interiors, or interior architecture
Proven experience leading construction documentation and coordination
Solid understanding of building systems, detailing, and applicable codes
Advanced skills in Revit and AutoCAD
A collaborative mindset and comfort balancing production with process improvement
Why This Role Matters
Great design only works if it’s built properly. You’ll play a key role in raising technical quality, improving consistency, and strengthening coordination across projects. Your work directly impacts how efficiently teams operate and how successfully projects are delivered.
Why You’ll Like Working Here
You’ll join a design-build studio that values clarity, collaboration, and practical creativity. No ego. No fluff. Just strong design, solid documentation, and a team that cares about doing the work properly. This is a hybrid role based in Toronto (4 days in office)
Compensation: $70,000 – $85,000
