Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Architect who’s ready to take a true leadership role in the delivery of complex institutional work. You’ll be one of the firm’s key representatives, guiding projects from early visioning through to completion, while mentoring teams and strengthening client relationships along the way.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the full project life cycle from preliminary services through implementation, ensuring design quality, schedule, and budget alignment

  • Work closely with the architecture studio and in-house engineering disciplines to develop and monitor integrated design strategies

  • Manage day-to-day client relationships: run meetings, provide progress updates, and proactively resolve issues

  • Oversee preparation and coordination of drawings, specifications, and cost estimates to meet project criteria and applicable standards

  • Help maintain and advance practice-wide standards for architectural project management and delivery

  • Use current and emerging design and project management technologies to support efficient, sustainable delivery

  • Prepare reports, proposals, budgets, project plans, schedules, and other supporting documentation

  • Monitor project budget hours and schedule, taking corrective action when needed

  • Lead, coach, and mentor staff in project management, team collaboration, and client service in a motivational, supportive environment.

What you Bring

  • Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch); PMP designation considered a strong asset

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience delivering institutional, commercial, and/or industrial projects in a consulting environment

  • Proven supervisory and project management experience, with a track record of leading multidisciplinary teams

  • Strong working knowledge of Revit and current design/project management tools

  • Excellent understanding of Canadian/Ontario codes and standards (e.g., OBC, ESC, CSA, IES, IEEE, NFPA, ASHRAE)

  • Exceptional communication, time management, and multi-tasking skills, with meticulous attention to detail

  • Demonstrated interest and experience in business development and client relationship building.

You’ll love this role

  • You’re ambitious and want to grow your impact and influence within a firm

  • You care about details but never lose sight of the big picture

  • You thrive in a progressive, high-energy environment and enjoy “solution-first” thinking

If you’re ready to lead institutional projects, mentor a talented team, and play a visible role in the firm’s growth, we’d love to hear from you.
