Join this global A&E firm with a professional team of 800 architects, engineers, planners, and interior designers collaborating across Canada, the US, UK, and UAE. Purpose-driven design is at the core of every project, integrating elements of resiliency, sustainability, and inclusivity into the places and spaces created.

At our firm, we prioritize informed programming and design excellence in every healthcare project we undertake. Grounded in human-centric and evidence-based design principles, our team is dedicated to crafting healing environments that prioritize patient-centered care. With a keen eye on emerging trends and technological advancements, we ensure our projects are aligned with the evolving landscape of healthcare delivery.

We’re currently seeking a Project Manager who can meticulously plan and oversee projects, ensuring they meet contractual obligations on time and within budget. Responsibilities entail crafting, monitoring, and controlling project scopes, work plans, schedules, and budgets. You’ll develop detailed work plans for architectural and engineering tasks, monitor progress, and manage resource allocation. Leading teams through quality assurance procedures, particularly in producing construction drawings and specifications, will be crucial. You’ll also navigate scope changes, negotiating solutions to uphold client expectations and contractual agreements. Collaboration with contractors, sub-consultants, and building authorities to resolve constructability issues and owner concerns will be essential. Acting as the key liaison between clients, contractors, and the project team, nurturing client relationships, is another significant aspect of the role.

The ideal candidate for this role will be proficient in architectural or engineering systems design, M&E, and structural building systems, along with permit and building code knowledge.  Proven experience in strategic development, business development, project management, and client relations is essential. Demonstrated leadership, adaptability, and resourcefulness are highly valued. A sound understanding of project accounting to monitor performance and forecast revenue is necessary.

Ideally, you are a Licensed Architect with 10-15 years of project management experience, and significant experience in large scale healthcare projects.

This is a remote first role. Occasional attendance at the Toronto office is required.
