Responsibilities

  • Dive into the production and coordination of construction documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
  • Work with a talented team to resolve design and technical issues, producing diagrams, massing models, shadow studies, and other visual representations.
  • Develop detailed project documentation, working drawings, and plans.
  • Collaborate with sub-consultants, and research materials, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure project success.
  • Prepare and review construction details and shop drawings, and conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design intent is met.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years working on large-scale, complex projects – Institutional or healthcare project experience required. 
  • Proficiency in Revit, including experience completing a Contract Document set. Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Bluebeam, and Adobe software is advantageous.
  • Understanding of building envelope design and the Ontario Building Code is a plus.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Due to the nature of our work, candidates may be subject to a criminal reference check and must be able to pass government security clearance programs, including Vulnerable Sector clearance programs.
