Responsibilities
- Dive into the production and coordination of construction documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
- Work with a talented team to resolve design and technical issues, producing diagrams, massing models, shadow studies, and other visual representations.
- Develop detailed project documentation, working drawings, and plans.
- Collaborate with sub-consultants, and research materials, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure project success.
- Prepare and review construction details and shop drawings, and conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design intent is met.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years working on large-scale, complex projects – Institutional or healthcare project experience required.
- Proficiency in Revit, including experience completing a Contract Document set. Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Bluebeam, and Adobe software is advantageous.
- Understanding of building envelope design and the Ontario Building Code is a plus.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
