Job Description

You’re a natural storyteller, a strategic thinker, and a detail-driven writer who’s passionate about design. Whether you’re crafting a compelling proposal, writing a studio update, or coordinating a media opportunity, you know how to communicate ideas that resonate with clients, collaborators, and the community.

If you’re excited to help shape the voice of a nationally recognized architecture firm while working alongside a team that values creativity, purpose, and clarity, this role is for you.

About the Role

As a Marketing Specialist, you’ll support the firm’s pursuit of new work while amplifying our presence through thoughtful communications and PR. You’ll work closely with Principals, Architects, and Designers to develop standout proposals and drive strategic storytelling across multiple platforms.

This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys both independent work and team collaboration in a creative, fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Proposal & Pursuit Coordination

  • Lead or support the preparation of proposals, qualifications packages, and design submissions
  • Coordinate with Principals and technical teams to craft compelling narratives that align with client needs
  • Write and edit content that reflects our design approach, project experience, and values
  • Track and manage deadlines, RFQs/RFPs, and submission logistics

Marketing & Communications

  • Develop written content for the website, awards submissions, social media, and press releases
  • Maintain and update marketing collateral, including project sheets, staff bios, and firm profiles
  • Support internal communications, firm-wide announcements, and thought leadership pieces
  • Help plan and execute PR strategies in coordination with consultants or media partners

What You Bring

  • 3–6 years of experience in marketing, communications, or proposal coordination—ideally in architecture, design, engineering, or professional services
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • A knack for organizing content and juggling multiple deadlines
  • Comfort working with technical information and turning it into engaging, client-focused material
  • Proficiency with Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems is a plus
  • A collaborative spirit and an interest in design, the built environment, and the people who shape it

Why You’ll Love Working Here

Enjoy a purpose-driven career with flexible hybrid work, a 37.5-hour week, and summer hours.  The firm offers a supportive culture with mentorship, career growth, wellness activities, and great perks like virtual healthcare, a health spending account  and stunning city views.
