We’re seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Proposals Manager to join our innovative team in Toronto.

Your Role:

As our Proposals Manager, you’ll be the mastermind behind our proposals, presentations, and communications efforts. Working closely with our Director of Business Development and Communications, you’ll craft compelling narratives that showcase our design ethos and set us apart from the competition. From the initial decision to pursue an opportunity to the final submission, you’ll lead the charge, ensuring that every detail is perfect and every word resonates.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage the proposal submission process from start to finish, collaborating with internal partners and external consultants.
• Develop engaging content that communicates our unique strengths and design ambitions.
• Collaborate with our in-house Graphic Designer to bring your ideas to life visually.
• Maintain a high standard for deliverables, ensuring accuracy and quality in every submission.
• Continuously refine our RFP process to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Gather and organize information and assets from past projects to showcase our portfolio.
• Provide ongoing feedback to enhance the impact of our submissions.

What You’ll Bring:

• Exceptional writing and editing skills.
• A keen eye for design and proficiency in InDesign.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Detail-oriented mindset and ability to thrive under pressure.
• Experience in proposal writing or similar roles.
• A diploma or degree in marketing, business, communications, journalism, architecture, or related fields.
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a professional practice firm or architecture/planning firm.
