  • Select and specify interior finishes, fixtures, furniture, and materials
  • Prepare detailed furniture specifications and procurement documentation
  • Produce construction drawings, detailing, permit application packages, and tender documents
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and other consultants throughout the project
  • Complete site verification, field measurements, and furniture inventories
  • Participate in site reviews and construction administration
  • Mentor and delegate work to junior designers
  • Contribute to studio standards, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives

What You Bring

  • Approximately 5-8 years of interior design experience
  • Strong Workplace project experience
  • Experience in Retail, Multi-Unit Residential, or other commercial sectors is considered an asset
  • Degree or diploma in Interior Design
  • Strong understanding of building construction, detailing, accessibility requirements, and the Ontario Building Code
  • Experience working through all phases of a project from programming through construction completion
  • Strong Revit skills are preferred, but equivalent technical experience will also be considered
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and presentation software
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the confidence to work directly with clients, consultants, and contractors
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Collaborative, proactive, and detail-oriented approach

Why Join

  • Work on a diverse portfolio of Workplace, Retail, and Multi-Unit Residential projects
  • Enjoy direct exposure to clients, consultants, and contractors throughout every stage of a project
  • Take ownership of meaningful project responsibilities from design through construction
  • Join a collaborative studio where your ideas and contributions are valued
  • Learn from experienced designers while continuing to grow your technical, design, and client management skills
