An established, design-led studio is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Team Lead to take full ownership of team performance and project delivery.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for managing a multidisciplinary team of approximately 12, including Project Managers, Project Leads, Technologists, and Designers. You will be accountable for how the team operates, delivers, and grows, while remaining closely involved in the work itself.
This role is suited to an experienced leader who can manage people, performance, and complex hospitality projects with a high level of accountability and a collaborative, hands-on approach.
The Role
You will lead the team from both a project delivery and performance standpoint.
You will oversee multiple hospitality projects across all phases, while managing team structure, resourcing, utilization, and overall performance. Working closely with senior leadership, you will ensure that projects are delivered to a high standard and that the team is operating effectively and consistently.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Lead and manage a team of approximately 12 across project management, design, and technical roles
- Set clear expectations for performance, quality, and accountability
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, and team development
- Support and guide Project Managers, Project Leads, Designers, and Technologists in their day-to-day work
- Address performance issues directly and constructively
Project Delivery
- Oversee multiple hospitality projects from concept through construction administration and installation
- Ensure delivery aligns with scope, schedule, budget, and design intent
- Provide direction and support to project teams across all phases
- Step in as required to support coordination, documentation review, and problem-solving
- Maintain a high standard of technical execution and documentation
Team Performance and Operations
- Manage resourcing, workload planning, and team utilization
- Monitor project performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Contribute to internal processes, standards, and systems that support consistency and quality
- Balance design quality with operational and commercial requirements
Client and Consultant Leadership
- Act as a senior point of contact for clients and consultants
- Lead project communication and support effective decision-making
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Support risk management and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in interior design project delivery or project management
- Strong hospitality project experience is required
- Proven experience leading large teams across project management, design, and technical functions
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of construction methods, detailing, and consultant coordination
- Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and staffing
- Strong client-facing communication skills
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Interior Design Diploma or equivalent education preferred

Compensation: $100K – $125K + bonus
