Job Description

An established international architecture and design practice is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its Toronto office. The firm delivers work across industrial, retail, private education, long-term care, and multi-unit residential sectors, with approximately 50% of the current portfolio focused on industrial projects.

This opportunity is well suited to a senior project leader who enjoys managing multiple active projects, communicating directly with clients, and taking clear ownership of outcomes.

The Role

You will manage multiple projects concurrently and serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders, responsible for end-to-end delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading multiple projects from planning through construction and close-out

  • Serving as the primary client liaison, including chairing meetings and managing expectations

  • Coordinating consultant teams and guiding internal project teams

  • Preparing scopes of work, fee proposals, and project execution strategies

  • Overseeing technical quality, including detailing, building envelope coordination, and specification review

  • Managing project communication, documentation, and team assignments

  • Coordinating close-out requirements, inspections, certifications, and warranties

Qualifications

  • 8–10+ years of experience in architectural practice

  • OAA Architectural license (or actively pursuing)

  • Strong knowledge of OBC (Part 3 and Part 9)

  • Proven experience coordinating consultant teams and leading projects through multiple phases

  • Strong client-facing communication and leadership skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit

  • Industrial project experience is considered an asset
