Join a global architecture and engineering firm with a team of 800 architects, engineers, planners, and interior designers working across Canada, the US, the UK, and the UAE.
This is a senior healthcare architecture role for someone who has led complex hospital projects and understands what it takes to deliver patient-centred, technically sound healthcare environments.
You will work closely with internal design teams, consultants, clients, and stakeholders to lead architectural design and coordination across all phases of healthcare projects. The ideal candidate brings strong hospital experience, sound technical judgment, and the ability to guide projects from early planning through construction.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead architectural design and coordination for healthcare projects, including hospitals and complex healthcare renovations.
- Gather, review, and assess project requirements from clients, stakeholders, consultants, site reviews, and technical documentation.
- Develop architectural solutions that respond to project scope, budget, schedule, code requirements, and healthcare standards.
- Coordinate with engineering, structural, interior design, planning, and consultant teams to ensure fully integrated project delivery.
- Prepare and review drawings, models, reports, specifications, and design documentation.
- Incorporate building systems, site conditions, field review findings, and regulatory requirements into project work.
- Conduct site visits and field reviews to confirm compliance with construction documents.
- Review shop drawings, product submissions, and project documentation for quality, coordination, and alignment with project requirements.
- Support project delivery through all phases, from programming and design through construction administration.
What You Bring
- 15+ years of architectural experience.
- 8–10+ years of direct healthcare project experience.
- Experience as Lead Architect on at least three hospital projects valued at $100M+.
- Completion of at least three full-cycle hospital projects as Lead Architect, or equivalent experience leading medium-sized healthcare renovations.
- Registration as an Architect in any Canadian province.
- Strong experience across all phases of the project cycle.
- Solid technical knowledge of healthcare design, building systems, consultant coordination, and code requirements.
- Familiarity with MEP and structural systems.
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and related design/documentation tools.
- Related post-secondary education in architecture.

Compensation: $120K – $140K + Bonus + RRSP
