Our client is seeking a Project Manager to join their growing team and play a key role in the delivery of high-profile commercial and industrial projects across Canada. This is an opportunity to lead projects ranging from industrial facilities, logistics and distribution centres, warehouses, data centres, to office and commercial developments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding projects through all phases of design and project delivery while balancing client expectations, project budgets, schedules, technical requirements, and team coordination.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, building strong relationships, and managing the many moving parts required to deliver complex projects successfully.
What You’ll Do
Project Leadership – Lead commercial and industrial projects through all phases of design and delivery, ensuring projects remain aligned with client objectives, schedules, budgets, and quality expectations.
Team & Consultant Coordination – Manage and coordinate architects, engineers, specialty consultants, and internal project teams to ensure efficient collaboration and project execution.
Client Relationship Management – Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, building strong relationships and providing strategic guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Project Planning & Execution – Develop project work plans, establish milestones, monitor progress, identify project risks, and implement solutions to maintain project momentum and achieve delivery targets.
Design & Technical Oversight – Oversee the development and coordination of design packages and construction documentation, ensuring projects meet operational, technical, and business requirements.
Budget & Financial Management – Manage project budgets, fee proposals, consultant contracts, invoicing, and financial performance to ensure projects remain profitable and financial goals are achieved.
Quality Control & Compliance – Ensure project documentation complies with applicable building codes, municipal requirements, industry standards, and internal quality expectations.
Leadership & Mentorship – Provide leadership to project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and a high standard of project delivery.
