As a Healthcare Architect, you will collaborate closely with our design team to develop innovative solutions tailored to the specific context, budget, and aesthetic requirements of each architectural project. You’ll play a pivotal role in coordinating design efforts across disciplines and guiding projects through all phases of development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gather and evaluate information from various sources to understand project requirements.
  • Develop architectural designs that meet quality standards, project timelines, and budgetary constraints.
  • Coordinate design efforts with other disciplines to ensure seamless integration.
  • Incorporate engineering requirements, site surveys, and field review information while adhering to relevant codes and regulations.
  • Prepare design reports, drawings, and models in accordance with company standards.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with construction documents and address any deviations promptly.
  • Review project products, services, and shop drawings to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.

Required Skills and Experience 

  • Proficiency in all phases of the project cycle.
  • Strong proficiency in software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and others.
  • Familiarity with MEP and Structural building systems, as well as relevant building codes.
  • Completion of related post-secondary education.
  • Registration with a relevant professional architectural association is desirable.
  • 10-15 years of project work experience in architecture.
  • Experience in healthcare projects is advantageous.

This is a remote first role. Occasional attendance at the Toronto office is required.
