Job Description

Join this highly reputable firm, internationally recognized for exceptional hospitality projects. We’re currently on the lookout for an Intermediate Designer to join our team. In this role, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with our visionary Principal and Team Lead to bring design concepts to life and set new standards in innovation and quality.

As an Intermediate Designer, you’ll be the creative force behind our hospitality and multi-residential projects, helping us turn concepts into reality. Imagine working on mid to large-scale residential developments for renowned developers and iconic brands. Your mission? Transform these spaces into truly remarkable living experiences.

Your Responsibilities:

You’ll be responsible for crafting innovative design concepts that align with project goals and our vision. You’ll also play a key role in improving our design processes, working collaboratively with our team and management. Supporting Project Leads in developing large-scale projects will be a crucial part of your role.

You’ll be the captain of multiple projects, steering them from concept to construction while ensuring they stay on track, both in terms of deadlines and budgets. Additionally, you’ll be a mentor, providing guidance and support to new team members to help them grow and excel.

In the world of design, trust is everything. You’ll be building and nurturing client relationships by managing expectations, maintaining clear communication, and delivering impressive presentations that showcase your creative talent.

Your Qualifications:

You’re legally entitled to work in Canada. With a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, you bring a minimum of four years of multi-residential design experience to the table.

Fast-paced environments are where you thrive, and your communication skills are top-notch, whether you’re talking to colleagues, clients, consultants, or suppliers. Time management is a breeze for you, and you’re a pro at prioritizing and managing resources efficiently.

You’re a resourceful, curious, and creative individual who can express concepts in three dimensions through 3D modeling or freehand sketching. You’re also well-versed in global laws and regulations related to interior design practices. Your understanding of FF&E is strong, and you can collaborate seamlessly with in-house FF&E specialists.

Your Benefits:

As part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to learn directly from our Principal and a world-class design team. Your salary will be competitive, based on your experience and industry standards. Plus, you’ll enjoy extra time off during our annual end-of-year studio closure.

Our workspace is designed to inspire, complete with free parking and access to a modern gym. For those moments when you need a quick energy boost, our well-stocked healthy snack pantry has got you covered. You’ll also have access to a comprehensive health benefits package and an open invitation to our regular team-building company events.

Join us in the art of creating extraordinary spaces and be a part of a team that’s revolutionizing the world of design. If you’re ready to bring your talents to transformative projects, take the leap and apply today.
