As a Project Lead, you will play a pivotal role in our project team, taking charge of project management and ensuring that our projects are delivered to the highest standards. This role involves overseeing and guiding the design team, handling client interactions, and ensuring project success from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Project Lead, your primary responsibility is to manage the entire project lifecycle. This includes:
Leading projects independently, ranging from 5000 sqft to 20,000 sqft.
Leading the Discover, Plan, Implement, Monitor, and Close phases of the project plan methodology.
Proficiency in Revit for all projects is a mandatory requirement.
Producing construction documentation as needed.
Ensuring project drawings adhere to company standards.
Overseeing drawing mark-ups, space planning, and concept development.
Coordinating with consultants throughout the project.
Taking charge of the front end of the project, including renderings and design detailing.
Conducting site verifications
Managing sourcing of materials, finishes, and vendor interactions..
Leading project meetings and effectively communicating with the project team.
Maintaining strong relationships with clients, and ensuring that their needs and expectations are met throughout the project.
Ensure that projects comply with building code requirements and are executed according to regulations, procedures, plans, drawings, and specifications.
Managing risk and adhering to best practices in design projects is an essential part of your role.
Uphold company standards and core values, acting as a leader and mentor to the team. Additionally, you may be involved in the Student Internship Program, timesheet submission, training sessions, and in-office meetings.

Requirements:
Education in Interior Design from a recognized accredited College or University.
National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) certification completed (or in progress)
Membership in the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO) if applicable.
Seven years of experience in interior design, including previous experience in a leadership or project management role.
Strong Technical skills in Revit
Superb relationships building skills with clients, consultants and team members.
Valid driver’s license and access to a car as well as the ability to travel overnight occasionally.
