We are in search of a dynamic individual to assume the pivotal role of Digital Delivery + BIM Lead. This position is tailored for someone passionate about digital delivery, curious about cutting-edge tools, and eager to contribute to the evolution of our digital capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Digital Delivery:

Lead software optimization efforts, assessing needs, managing budgets, and recommending purchases. Analyze and enhance existing workflows, staying informed on automation tools. Produce quarterly reports on digital delivery performance. Head the BIM team for seamless integration and efficiency.

BIM Lead Support and Training:

Collaborate with studio leaders to set standards, and templates, and manage models. Facilitate creative protocols for communication and 3D workspace. Aid project teams in effective software use, including BIM Execution Plans. Conduct audits and refinement of Revit content and libraries. Implement and optimize Revit standards in collaboration with project teams.

Projects and Management:

Implement project management software for a comprehensive approach. Oversee new Revit projects, specifying information, and defining construction phasing. Monitor projects for quality compliance, data integrity, and organization. Provide continuous technical support to project teams. Lead clash detection processes and generate associated reports.

IT Tasks:

Define hardware and software needs for digital delivery. Collaborate with IT for hardware and software testing. Contribute to annual software and project upgrades. Assist with software deployment packages and issue resolution.

Technical Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in the building design industry.
  • Expert knowledge of Autodesk Revit.
  • Knowledge of Rhino, Grasshopper, Dynamo, and Python scripting is an asset.
  • Thorough understanding of BIM applications and best practices.
  • Ability to meet challenging schedules and prioritize tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and digital delivery solutions.

They should have a proven track record of building and maintaining high-performance teams, offering timely feedback, and cultivating positive relationships both internally and externally. A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently are must-have qualities.

We’re looking for a candidate who is eager to guide and lead our firm’s digital practice. This involves contributing to a technical manual for staff compliance, improving project profitability through integrated delivery systems, and creating an annual Digital Delivery Strategic Plan.
