Job Description

We’re seeking a Senior Architect with strong technical expertise to lead the development and coordination of construction documents for complex mixed-use projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, mentoring project teams, and guiding projects from design through construction.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the development and coordination of construction documents for complex mixed-use and large-scale projects.
  • Coordinate project deliverables with project managers and internal teams.
  • Develop design concepts, detailing, and presentation materials.
  • Produce accurate, high-quality working drawings using Revit.
  • Oversee and review the production of construction documents by junior team members.
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout all phases of project delivery.
  • Support contract administration, site coordination, and the resolution of construction-related issues.
  • Interpret and apply building codes, zoning by-laws, and other applicable regulations.
  • Maintain project quality, technical accuracy, and documentation standards.
  • Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Science, or Architectural Technology.
  • Minimum 8 years of professional architectural experience
  • Strong technical background with proven experience leading construction documentation for complex projects.
  • Experience delivering large-scale mixed-use developments through all phases, including contract administration.
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit and BIM.
  • Excellent knowledge of building codes, construction detailing, and documentation standards.
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while mentoring and supporting project teams.
