As a Workplace Consultant, you’ll be the driving force behind winning new business by advising clients on custom furniture solutions that align with their vision, budget, and functional needs. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their goals, present innovative solutions, and manage relationships to secure RFP wins. This role requires a blend of consultative sales expertise, design sensibility, and strategic thinking to deliver exceptional results.
What You’ll Do:
Craft tailored furniture proposals that fit client budgets, timelines, and aesthetic goals
Develop detailed quotes, ensuring accurate pricing, margins, and logistics for seamless execution
Collaborate with top furniture brands to deliver customized solutions
Work alongside planners and designers to update and refine installation plans
Review manufacturer drawings, renderings, and quotes, ensuring accuracy and quality
Oversee the project handoff to internal teams, ensuring a smooth transition from proposal to execution
Advise clients on workplace trends, ergonomics, and furniture innovations
Stay ahead of industry trends to provide clients with cutting-edge solutions
Share valuable insights with the product team to refine offerings based on client needs
What You Bring to the Table:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Interior Design, or a related field (preferred)
Experience: 3+ years in a consultative sales role (furniture, design, or related industries)
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Deep understanding of workplace furniture systems and how they enhance work environments
