Job Description

An established international architecture and design practice is seeking an Intermediate Project Manager to join its Toronto office.

The firm works across industrial, retail, private education, long-term care, and multi-unit residential projects, with industrial work currently making up a significant portion of the portfolio.

This role is a strong fit for a project manager who enjoys variety, client interaction, and taking ownership of multiple active projects at once.

The Role

You will manage several projects concurrently and act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams. You will be responsible for keeping projects moving, maintaining clear communication, and ensuring successful delivery from early planning through construction and close-out.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading projects from planning through construction and close-out

Acting as the primary client contact, including chairing meetings and managing expectations

Coordinating consultants and internal project teams

Preparing scopes of work, fee proposals, and project execution strategies

Reviewing drawings, details, specifications, and building envelope coordination

Managing project communication, documentation, schedules, and team assignments

Coordinating close-out items, inspections, certifications, and warranties

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in architectural practice

OAA licence, or actively pursuing licensure

Strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code, including Part 3 and Part 9

Experience coordinating consultants and leading projects through multiple phases

Strong client facing communication and leadership skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit

Industrial project experience is an asset
