What You’ll Do
Lead mechanical design assignments focused on healthcare facilities, applying expert knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems to support patient-centered environments.
Champion designs that enhance comfort, safety, and infection control through integrated mechanical solutions.
Utilize your advanced Revit skills to produce high-quality documentation and mentor junior team members, while contributing to the continuous improvement of Revit standards, templates, and workflows.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and healthcare planners to ensure mechanical systems align with clinical workflows and regulatory requirements.
Conduct site surveys and field reviews to verify design accuracy and compliance.
Support contract administration and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, aligned with core values of quality, client focus, teamwork, sustainability, and community.
What You Bring to the Table
Diploma in Architecture, Construction Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field.
7+ years of mechanical design and drafting experience, with strong healthcare sector exposure.
Advanced proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows.
Thorough knowledge of ASHRAE standards, Ontario Building Code (OBC), NFPA, CSA Z317.2, and other applicable codes and regulations.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Experience with contract administration and mentoring junior staff is a strong asset.
