We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer with a minimum of 10 years’ experience across multi-sector projects in Workplace, Retail, and Hospitality. This is a leadership role for a creative thinker who can generate original ideas while confidently guiding projects through all phases from concept to completion.
You’ll be working side-by-side with Principals, leading major accounts across Canada, managing client relationships, and overseeing deliverables. As a senior leader in the studio, you’ll also mentor and motivate team members, actively shaping both the work and the culture.

What You’ll Do
Manage the interior design aspects of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and budgets are met.
Lead design thinking, space planning, and execution across Workplace, Retail & Hospitality sectors.
Collaborate closely with Principals, clients, and external consultants to deliver exceptional projects.
Oversee design production: presentations, drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
Conduct client programming, needs analysis, and strategic planning.
Lead FF&E selection, material palettes, and detailed specifications.
Manage project resources and schedules, delegating effectively to support staff.
Provide mentorship and training to junior and intermediate designers.
Participate in business development activities, including client pitches.
Travel to project sites as required.
What you bring
10+ years of industry experience in interior design, with exposure to multiple sectors (Workplace, Retail, Hospitality).
Degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
Professional designations (NCIDQ, LEED, WELL) an asset.
Strong grasp of building construction, detailing, codes, and zoning by-laws.
Proven track record managing projects from concept to completion.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong visual communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
Experience coordinating across disciplines (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical).
Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills with a passion for mentorship.
Positive, professional demeanor with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel when required.
