Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Architect with over 10 years of experience to join our team in a full-time permanent position.The successful candidate will oversee the management of boutique multi unit residential projects, from Design Development to Construction Documents, including the contract administration phase. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with design development and working drawings, permit, tender, and construction documents using AutoCAD 2024.
  • Take a lead role in project management, coordinating with other disciplines, engineers, and sub-consultants.
  • Manage client relationships, including meetings, progress reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Oversee contract administration phase, including reviewing and approving contractor submittals, responding to RFIs, and conducting site visits as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with OBC and other relevant codes and standards.
  • Mentor and coach junior and intermediate architectural team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
  • 10+ years of experience in architectural design and project management with at least 5 years experience in multi unit residential projects 
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2024.
  • Strong knowledge of OBC
  • Experience in managing large-scale residential projects, including contract administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a dynamic environment.
  • Cheerful attitude and ability to collaborate effectively with staff, clients, and consultants.
