Job Description

We are seeking a polished, driven, and results-oriented A&D Sales Representative to join a growing high-end furniture  brand based in Vaughan. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys business development, relationship building, and working with a premium product in the architecture and design industry.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building relationships with architecture and design firms across Canada and the US, quoting projects, and closing sales. This role requires a proactive and professional approach, strong communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work independently in a highly autonomous environment.

This position is well suited to someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial setting and is motivated by the opportunity to help grow a new brand backed by a well-established manufacturer with over 40 years of industry experience.

Duties

  • Identify and prospect potential clients through market research, networking, cold calling, and outreach
  • Build relationships with architecture and design firms, designers, and specifiers across Canada and the US
  • Schedule and conduct sales meetings, presentations, showroom visits, and plant tours
  • Introduce the brand and product offering in a compelling and professional manner
  • Prepare project quotes and follow up on active opportunities
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to close
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, client activity, and pipeline progress using CRM or sales tools
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
  • Collaborate with internal team members to support sales efforts and refine outreach strategies
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients to foster long-term relationships and repeat business

Experience

  • 3-5 years proven experience in outbound sales or business development
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close deals
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
  • Experience in high end furniture, lighting, flooring, building materials, luxury retail, or another high-end product category is preferred
  • Proficiency with CRM systems or other sales tools is an asset
  • Comfortable with client-facing meetings and developing business through direct outreach
  • Previous experience selling to the architecture and design community is considered a strong asset

Additional Requirements

  • Hybrid role based in Vaughan, with 2–3 days per week in office
  • Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle required
  • Ability to travel to client meetings on a regular basis
  • Occasional travel to the US required

Compensation

  • Base salary: $70,000 – $75,000 + Commissions
