Job Description

Are you a detail-obsessed Interior Design Technologist who loves bringing bold design concepts to life through precise, buildable drawing sets? Do you thrive in a creative environment where your technical expertise is valued as much as your ability to collaborate and mentor others?

Join a respected and growing design studio that’s redefining how we live and stay. Known for their award-winning multi-unit residential and hospitality projects, this firm is structured around agile, self-sufficient design squads – tight-knit teams that combine creativity, precision, and autonomy to deliver exceptional results.

We’re looking for a Senior Interior Design Technologist who is fluent in both AutoCAD and Revit and has a deep understanding of construction documentation, detailing, and building code compliance. In this role, you’ll lead the production of working drawing packages, help maintain and evolve CAD and BIM standards, and play a key role in training and mentoring junior team members.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate closely with Senior Designers and Team Leads to define scope and technical direction

  • Translate sketches and conceptual ideas into fully coordinated drawing sets

  • Produce assembly and millwork details, ensuring seamless integration of all components

  • Work with the Senior BIM Specialist to maintain high Revit standards across projects

  • Coordinate and incorporate consultant drawings

  • Support permit and tender submissions and participate in construction administration

  • Conduct site walkthroughs and review contract documentation

  • Help guide and assign drafting tasks to junior staff, offering mentorship and quality oversight

Who you are:

  • 7–10 years of experience in an Interior Design or Architectural Technologist role

  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (ideally in interior design focused projects)

  • A sharp eye for detail and deep knowledge of construction documentation

  • Familiarity with the Ontario Building Code and construction detailing

  • Comfortable reviewing and interpreting design sketches and translating them into buildable plans

  • Friendly, approachable, and proactive—someone who enjoys being part of a collaborative studio culture

  • A passion for well-executed design and the systems that bring it to life

This is an opportunity to do meaningful work on complex, high-profile residential and hospitality projects, where your precision, technical insight, and mentorship will help shape spaces people love to live and gather in.

Apply now to bring your skills to a studio that values your craft and gives you room to grow.
