About the Role
As Director, Digital Construction, you’ll oversee multiple large-scale residential and mixed-use projects from schematic design through IFC delivery, ensuring design integrity, coordination, and technical excellence at every stage.
You’ll lead the organization’s digital construction strategy, building on a strong BIM/VDC foundation to drive continuous improvement and deeper integration across development, design, and construction. You’ll mentor teams, define KPIs, and champion new technologies like digital twins, reality capture, and AI-enabled tools that enhance delivery quality and efficiency.
This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on collaboration, precision, and innovation in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee digital delivery across multiple projects from design to IFC, ensuring coordination and quality across all disciplines.
Enhance BIM/VDC standards, workflows, and model management practices.
Lead multidisciplinary teams in developing comprehensive, high-quality construction documentation packages.
Align digital workflows with design intent, budget, and schedule while coordinating with consultants and contractors.
Advance the Digital Construction roadmap by integrating emerging technologies and best practices.
Oversee model coordination, clash detection, and constructability reviews using 3D/4D/5D tools.
Drive continuous improvement through process optimization and cross-team collaboration.
Mentor and develop team members, fostering expertise in BIM, digital platforms, and modern construction methods.
About you
Professional degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction; OAA or equivalent license preferred.
10+ years of experience in architecture, construction, or development with a strong focus on BIM/VDC leadership.
Proven success managing cross-disciplinary teams and digital delivery processes on large, complex projects.
Expertise in Revit, Navisworks, Rhino, Dynamo, and related digital tools; familiarity with Procore, Primavera, or similar platforms.
Strong design and technical background with deep understanding of construction workflows and data integration.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
A strategic mindset plus hands-on technical ability. Able to move seamlessly from high-level vision to on-the-ground delivery.
