Your Mission

As Design Director, you will be the driving force behind our pursuit of excellence, combining leadership, creativity, and fiscal accountability:

  • Define and communicate a powerful design philosophy that aligns directly with our overarching company goals, fostering a progressive and innovative design culture.
  • Lead and mentor a 12 person interior design team, guiding projects from initial market engagement through construction and final installation. You will personally ensure a consistent, high-quality look and feel in all firm designs.
  • Take full responsibility for developing and implementing all internal design concepts, creative presentation strategies, and quality assurance measures.
  • Act as a dedicated mentor to all levels of the design team, providing focused creative and budgetary direction to cultivate top talent.
  • Oversee project profitability, managing budgets and timelines, and utilizing your experience in negotiating scope and fees for successful and profitable project completion.
  • Maintain and expand key client relationships, while actively participating in business development to drive strategic growth.

What You Bring

  • Minimum of 15+ years of relevant workplace/corporate interior design experience, with a substantial history in a senior leadership role.
  • Extensive experience overseeing the entire project lifecycle from concept to post-occupancy, with demonstrated success as a Project Manager on corporate interiors.
  • NCIDQ and BCIN – Large Buildings or Above. ARIDO Membership is a strong asset.
  • Full competency in Contract Administration processes, known for rigorous attention to detail and accuracy in construction documents.
  • Excellent leadership, client presentation, and relationship-building skills. A polished, persuasive communicator and productive delegator
  • Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of SalesforceMicrosoft Project, and MS Office Suite.
