We are seeking a Lead Project Manager to take charge of the Construction Administration (CA) phase for some of the world’s most prestigious hospitality projects. This is a senior leadership role for someone who excels at execution, problem-solving, and ensuring that every detail of a project is delivered to the highest standards.
As the primary client contact during construction, you’ll oversee implementation on site, manage consultants, and guide a small team while ensuring that the original design intent is fully realized. This role requires significant international travel to conduct site visits, shop inspections, and FF&E reviews—acting as the face of the studio during one of the most critical phases of delivery.
What You’ll Do
Lead Construction Administration: Oversee execution of large-scale international hospitality projects through CA, serving as the sole client contact at this stage.
Safeguard Design Intent: Ensure constructability and implementation meet the highest standards while maintaining alignment with the original design vision.
Client & Consultant Management: Coordinate directly with clients, consultants, contractors, and design specialists to deliver projects seamlessly.
Documentation & Reviews: Manage RFIs, shop drawings, material reviews, and site coordination with precision.
Site & Travel Oversight: Conduct site visits, shop inspections, and FF&E reviews internationally to ensure quality and timelines are upheld.
Mentorship: Provide leadership and guidance to 1–2 junior staff members, modeling best practices in project management and client service.
Who You Are
15+ years of experience in project management within architecture, interior design, or related fields.
Proven track record managing large-scale hospitality projects through the construction phase.
Advanced knowledge of construction methodologies, detailing, and building systems.
Skilled in reviewing and coordinating shop drawings, RFIs, mock-ups, and FF&E processes.
Adept at balancing technical oversight, client communication, and problem-solving.
Highly organized, accountable, and adaptable to the complexities of international projects.
Degree in Architecture (preferred) or related discipline; certifications (PMP, NCIDQ, LEED AP) are assets but not required.
Significant international travel required during active construction phases.
