We are looking for an Architect or Architectural Technologist with strong cladding detailing experience to join our Toronto team.
This is a technical role for someone who knows how to take design intent and turn it into clear, accurate, buildable drawing packages. You will work closely with architects and senior technical staff on complex commercial and mixed-use projects, with a focus on the performance, coordination, and detailing of exterior wall systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed Revit construction drawings and building envelope details with a high level of accuracy
- Develop technical cladding solutions in collaboration with architects and senior technologists
- Support the delivery of large-scale commercial, mixed-use, and residential projects
- Research assemblies, review interfaces, and resolve technical detailing issues related to cladding systems
- Assist with the review of shop drawings and submittals for exterior wall and cladding packages
- Help ensure documentation is coordinated, technically sound, and delivered on schedule
What We’re Looking For:
- 5–8 years of architectural production experience, with strong exposure to design development and construction documents
- Proven experience detailing cladding and building envelope systems
- Strong Revit skills
- Experience working on commercial, mixed-use, and residential building types
- Solid understanding of exterior wall systems such as curtain wall, rainscreen, and panelized cladding systems
- Strong technical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with both small and large project teams
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and committed to producing quality technical work
Additional Experience Considered an Asset
- Coordination experience with curtain wall consultants, fabricators, and installers
- Familiarity with thermal performance, moisture control, and specification coordination
- Understanding of applicable building code and energy performance requirements related to exterior wall systems
This is an In office position (5 days in office)
Compensation: $70,000 – $95,000
