We are looking for an experienced Architectural Project Manager who can take ownership of projects, lead multidisciplinary teams and manage the full picture, from client relationships and project planning through financial performance and successful delivery.

The Role

As Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and in line with contractual commitments.

You’ll lead integrated teams of architects, engineers and consultants while acting as the primary point of contact for clients. This role is ideal for someone who understands both the technical and business sides of project delivery and can confidently manage scope, schedules, resources and project financials.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage projects through multiple phases from planning and design through construction
  • Develop and manage project scopes, work plans, schedules and budgets
  • Create detailed work plans across architectural and engineering disciplines
  • Allocate resources and hours and monitor progress against project plans
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams of architects, engineers and consultants
  • Oversee QA/QC of project deliverables, including construction drawings and specifications
  • Manage changes in project scope and negotiate solutions that meet client expectations and contractual obligations
  • Monitor project financial performance and forecast revenue
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants and building authorities to resolve constructability and project issues
  • Act as the primary liaison between the client, contractor and project team
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project

What We’re Looking For

  • 10–15 years of architectural or related project experience
  • OAA Licensed Architect (required)
  • Bilingual (English-French)
  • Strong project management experience within an architecture, engineering or multidisciplinary consulting environment
  • Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets and resources
  • Strong understanding of project financials, including monitoring performance and forecasting revenue
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary architectural and engineering teams
  • Knowledge of architectural systems, M&E and structural building systems, permitting and building codes
  • Strong client management, communication and leadership skills
  • Experience with public-sector, government or institutional projects is an asset
  • Ability to obtain Security Clearance
