We are seeking an experienced Architectural Account Manager who brings a strong understanding of the architectural process and confidence working directly with clients across retail and commercial environments. This role focuses on account growth, ongoing relationship management, and ensuring that active work is delivered smoothly and professionally.
You will serve as a key point of contact between clients and internal teams, helping ensure projects stay on track as they move from early design through construction. This position requires a proactive communicator who can identify new opportunities within existing accounts while supporting day-to-day coordination needs.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, designers, and specifiers
Develop and execute account strategies to increase market presence in retail or infrastructure sectors
Identify and track projects from early concept through completion, ensuring milestones are met
Support client understanding by presenting technical information and project updates
Collaborate closely with internal production and specifications teams to maintain seamless communication
Maintain accurate records and provide regular account status updates to firm Principals
Monitor industry and market conditions relevant to client needs
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and registration in an Architectural Association
7+ years of experience in project and account management
Solid working knowledge of the architectural process
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD
Ability to travel when required
Experience working with clients, AHJs, architects, engineers, contractors, and specifiers
Familiarity with construction project lifecycles and specification practices
Interest in design, architecture, or sustainable building practices
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation: $90,000 – $100,000
