This is an opportunity for a technically strong Licensed Architect who enjoys leading complex projects, mentoring teams, and collaborating with clients, consultants, and contractors through every stage of project delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the technical delivery of large, complex architectural projects across a variety of building types.
- Develop and oversee high-quality construction documentation using Revit.
- Lead multidisciplinary coordination throughout all phases of design and construction.
- Provide technical leadership in building envelope design, detailing, constructability, and quality assurance.
- Lead Contract Administration activities, including site reviews, RFIs, shop drawing reviews, change management, and construction issue resolution.
- Mentor and support architects and technologists at all levels of experience.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities having jurisdiction.
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.
- Take ownership of project challenges and proactively develop practical solutions.
What You’ll Bring
- Licensed Architect (OAA).
- Minimum 15 years of architectural experience.
- Strong technical background with experience delivering large, complex projects through all phases.
- Experience across multiple project typologies. Public sector experience is an asset but not required.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit.
- Strong knowledge of building envelope systems and construction detailing.
- Extensive Contract Administration experience.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor multidisciplinary project teams.
- Self-starter who works independently while contributing to a collaborative studio environment.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem solving skills.
- Eligible and willing to obtain Government of Canada Secret Security Clearance.
