Senior Interior Designer – Mixed Use Project (Toronto)

A Toronto-based architectural and design studio is seeking an Interior Designer who is passionate about working on residential and mixed-use developments.

The Interior Designer will manage a variety of  residential and commercial interior projects that include new construction as well as small and large scale interior renovations and fit-outs located across the GTA and Southern Ontario.

In this role, the ideal candidate should be able to carry out the design, detailing and finishing of interior spaces. You should be a natural leader as you will be collaborating with small groups and working independently in a fast-paced environment. You will manage projects through all phases which includes: Approvals, Working Drawings, Contract Administration and Construction.

For this position, the ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience. You must have OBC knowledge and experience on the job-site and working drawings; specifically: Plans, Interior Elevations, Millwork Details and Schedules. You should be capable of coordinating with other project consultants as part of the Working Drawing production process and have technical skills in Revit, AutoCad, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite.  

You should be knowledgeable of current products and finishes and how to specify them; along with experience in assembling and presenting finished sample boards.
