As a Senior Architect, you’ll be a key player on our dynamic design team, where you’ll drive impactful, complex projects from concept to completion. You’ll collaborate across disciplines, managing the full design process to deliver solutions that balance context, budget, and aesthetic goals. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead design in a sector that positively impacts communities and upholds the standards of the justice system.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create and refine technical designs, producing architectural drawings that meet quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
  • Engage in design activities, including programming, code research, and building systems exploration, ensuring the project aligns with both functional and aesthetic goals.
  • Assess site conditions, conduct surveys, and review project-related products and drawings.
  • Manage permit responses, collaborating with engineers and consultants to secure necessary approvals.
  • Work closely with contractors, sub-consultants, and building authorities to address constructability issues and owner concerns.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 10-15 years of architectural project experience across all phases of the project cycle.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and architectural design software.
  • Familiarity with MEP, Structural building systems, and building codes.
  • Licensed Architect with OAA is a strong asset.
  • Background in institutional projects is a strong asset

This is a remote-first role requiring occasional attendance at the Toronto office.
