Job Description

Become a vital part of a prestigious private residential design firm in Barrie, renowned for its high-end projects. Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented FF&E Procurement Specialist to join their close-knit team, known for their unwavering commitment to excellence.

In this role, you will oversee the entire procurement process—from gathering quotes to managing deliveries—ensuring that projects are executed smoothly and efficiently. If you’re ready to contribute your expertise and passion to a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare quotes and proposals for furnishings, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
  • Manage the ordering process and coordinate with vendors.
  • Issue invoices to clients and process payments.
  • Match vendor invoices to proposals for accuracy through monthly account reconciliation. 
  • Order samples and track orders throughout the procurement process.
  • Organize and oversee receiving days, ensuring proper receipt of items on-site.
  • Collaborate with team members and designers to support project needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, representing the brand positively.
  • Manage some office supply procurement and invoicing as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a design or residential setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of excellence.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude.
  • Proficient understanding of numbers and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment and support colleagues effectively.
  • Solution-oriented and proactive in addressing challenges.
  • Process-oriented with strong organizational skills. 
  • Familiarity with Design Docs software is a plus (training provided).

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $60,000 – $70,000.
  • 3 weeks of paid vacation.
