In this intermediate Architect role you will work on all phases of high end single family residential projects. You will use and develop a range of skillsets from design development to construction documentation. You will develop designs and details with design intent, based on research and resolution of technical and design issues
You will prepare architectural drawings using REVIT, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other modeling software and manage and coordinate consultants.
The ideal candidate for this position will have about 5 years work experience in an architectural practice with significant experience in Private Residential projects. Able to use Revit fluently as well as Sketchup and AutoCAD. A strength in detailing and producing high quality drawings is essential.

Direct experience with detailing and and understanding of building science for high end single family homes/cottages is necessary.
Your past exposure to projects should be diverse and include experience related to Permit applications, Construction Documents, envelope detailing and contract administration.
A high level of understanding of the Ontario Building Code and City of Toronto’s Zoning By-laws is required as well as LEED and/or Passive House accreditation and knowledge of sustainable technologies beneficial.
