We are currently seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join our Interior Design department. At our firm, our Interior Designers are tasked with crafting captivating and functional spaces. As a Project Manager, you will represent us to our clients, leveraging your expertise to guide your team members.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process, creating solutions that align with and exceed client expectations.
- Ensure the project team maintains a consistent understanding of project deliverables and client expectations.
- Deliver high-quality projects from concept to completion, adhering to timelines and budgets.
- Review and coordinate the execution of project deliverables using Revit and other design software.
- Prepare fee proposals and contracts, defining project scope, schedule, staff allocation, and client expectations.
- Assemble a project team with skills aligned with the project’s scope of work.
- Ensure projects meet or exceed client expectations and adhere to industry standards.
- Lead key project team meetings both internally and externally.
- Attend off-site work, including site visits and meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Manage project financial objectives, addressing any deviations from the original scope, critical path, or budget promptly.
- Identify potential risks or concerns following the firm’s Risk Management processes.
Qualifications:
- Degree/diploma from an accredited institution in Interior Design or Architecture.
- 5-7 years of industry experience managing projects from concept to execution.
- A passion for inspiring project team members to deliver outstanding work.
- Registered ARIDO Member (preferred).
- Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Revit experience considered an asset.
- Knowledgeable in the OBC and other provincial and national building codes and their application.
