Join a global architecture and engineering firm with a professional team of 800 architects, engineers, planners, and interior designers collaborating across Canada, the US, UK, and UAE. Our Transportation Studio develops aviation, transit, and multimodal hub solutions for clients worldwide. We understand the needs of government and private operators to maintain, upgrade, and provide new transportation services and supporting infrastructure. Our design solutions are purpose-driven, aiming to create better, more efficient, and environmentally friendly transportation nodes that incorporate flexibility for future system expansion.

We are currently seeking a Project Manager to plan and manage transportation projects, ensuring that all contractual commitments are met on time and within budget. As a Project Manager, you will use your interpersonal and leadership skills and must have an understanding of project financials to determine the necessary resources required for successful project execution. You will provide leadership to a multi-disciplinary team, monitor project performance, and forecast revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scope and Deliverables Management: Negotiate, develop, monitor, and control the scope of deliverables, work plans, schedules, and budgets for all project stages.
• Work Plan Development: Create a detailed work plan for all architectural and engineering disciplines, allocate hours, and monitor project progress.
• Team Leadership: Lead an integrated team of architects and engineers in quality assurance and control procedures for all deliverables, specifically construction drawings and specifications.
• Client and Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison with the client, contractor, and project team, maintaining strong client relationships.
• Issue Resolution: Coordinate with contractors, sub-consultants, or relevant building authorities to address and document issues with constructability or owner concerns.
• Scope Management: Maintain a clear understanding of the project scope and negotiate solutions when changes occur to meet client expectations and contractual obligations.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong understanding of architectural design and presentation, including M&E and structural building systems, permits, and building codes.
• OAA Registration is an asset.
• Proven experience in project management, and client management.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, flexibility, and resourcefulness skills.
• Strong understanding of project accounting for monitoring project performance and forecasting revenue.

• 5-10 years of project work experience.
• Demonstrated experience in transportation projects, focusing on the development of aviation, transit, and multimodal hub solutions.
